As the CEO of LearnSomething, a Tallahassee based venture capital firm, Steve Roden has seen many ups and downs. Steve explained the process, hardships, and upsides of scaling back to weather tough economic times. The focus of the presentation was to use a downturn to your advantage to make your business nimble so it can quickly respond when the economy becomes better. As cash becomes scarce and the pace of progress becomes slow a business must listen to its customers and suppliers so that it can retain a competitive edge.
